Brian Cohen is a world renowned maker of fine classical guitars. Each one is made to the individual specifications of the player. Most models are based closely on those used by Torres and Hauser I. This instrument,built by Brian Cohen 1999, was specially commissioned. It is taken from an original Torres, no. FE08. The original guitar is regarded as Torres' finest masterpiece and was made specially for exhibition. This rendition/copy contains over 92 feet of handmade double-herringbone purfling, and over 100,000 individual wood inlay blocks set in the complicated geometric pattern on back, ribs and table.
