BEAUTIFUL STRAT STYLE GUITAR CUSTOM BUILT DICKEY BETTS

The guitar is a beautiful custom made instrument with inlaid mother of pearl “Dickey Betts” in the neck. Donated by Dickey Betts for former band member and friend, Chris Merrell 's Lifeline Benefit. Chris was diagnosed with prostate cancer on February 12th, 2007. A bone scan and pelvic CT scan at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville revealed that Chris's cancer had spread to his lymph nodes and bones and there was no chance for a cure. He was considered terminal and had 1 to 2 years to live. Chris is also a former member of The Grass Roots starring Rob Grill.
