Selling a 1962 Hofner 185 Artist Red Vinyl Bass. This bass is a real gem. Plays great, looks great, sound great and has that real 'Beatles' Vintage tone from the original 1962 diamond pickups.
All original apart from top horn strap button which has been replaced at some point. The guitar is covered in a red vinyl finish with a white binding. There are a couple of asthetic blemishes on the head stock and the neck, which can be expected with a guitar pushing 50, which do not effect the playability of the bass. You can see in the images below. It comes with a period snake skin case which needs some TLC. Great for someone who is into restoration. The guitar has been professionally set up and serviced by Strung Out of Glasgow so it plays and sounds as good as new.
